Fits close and true to size for most feet. The plush lining is dense at first and compresses with wear, so the boot relaxes slightly over the first few outings. If you are between sizes, or usually size up for thicker socks, take the larger size. The short shaft is meant to sit at the ankle bone with no gap at the back.

Keep the calf hair dry and brush it in one direction with a soft napped brush to lift the nap. Treat marks with a cleaner made for napped uppers-look and hair-on leather, working gently, then let the boot dry at room temperature away from radiators and direct sun. A water-repellent spray for napped leather-look helps before the first wear. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
